seems unaffected by the loss of comrades and friends in combat close attention
is required to make sure this ‘cold’ posture doesn’t affect
his abilities to command. |

HISTORY
| 2340 |
Ro is born to Byoto and Ruune Shio at the South Lica City
Hospital, entering the world loud and screaming. |
| 2344 |
Ro’s younger sister Kelora is born. |
| 2345 |
Ro starts his primary education at the Vardana Grade School. |
| 2353 |
Ro is initially considered a suitable candidate for joining
but quickly falls off as a potential host due to his tendency to solve conflict
through physical means, and thus making it likely he’d endanger the
symbiont during a later stage in life. |

Ro continues his primary education at the Zorton College |
| 2357 |
Ro graduates from Zortan College with good grades. Later
that year, Ro heads for earth and applies and is accepted into Starfleet
academy. |

Having good sense of 3 dimensional tactics and combat
Ro is advised to major in the field of Naval Combat & Tactics. Advice
that wasn’t lost on the young cadet. |
| 2361 | Ro graduates from SFA, and is assigned to the USS Sydney
as secondary tactical officer. Though initially disappointed in his assignment
to a Norway class ship, the inferior combat abilities of this class of ship
allowed him to show his skills as a tactical officer during various Starfleet
combat exercises. |
| 2362 | Ro is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade,
for his services on the USS Sydney and is reassigned to Chief Helmsman of
the ship. |
| 2366 | Ro is assigned the position of tactical officer aboard
the USS Bellerophon, a Nebula-Class starship. Ro is promoted to full Lieutenant,
for his services to the Federation and his work on the USS Bellerophon |
| 2367 | The USS Bellerophon is destroyed at the battle of Wolf
359, the Federation fleet horribly unprepared to fight the Borg. Leaving
many casualties behind in the freezing void of space. To this day Ro claims
it was nothing but pure luck he came out alive, and many agree with him.
For his wounds he was awarded a purple heart. After a long physical and
mental recuperation Ro was assigned as tactical officer to the USS Tigerclaw,
one of the new Saber-class starships. |
| 2371 | Ro is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and
placed in charge of security and tactical aboard the USS Tigerclaw. |
| 2373 | Once again Ro finds himself face to face with the Borg,
but once again the Borg smashed through Federation defenses as if there
was none. The USS Tigerclaw was damaged and had to limp away from battle
to prevent complete destruction. Though Ro felt like he had failed once
again to take on the Borg his commander put him up for a commendation, being
able to get the ship and nearly the entire crew out alive with his tactical
skills. |
| 2374 | Early that year Ro, and his tactical crew aboard the USS
Tigerclaw is awarded the Starfleet Command Citation of Merit for his actions
during the battle in sector 001. There is little time for joy at this point
though as the Cardassians and their Dominion allies used the relative weakness
of the Federation to attack them, thus starting what is now known as the
Dominion war. |
| 2375 | During a major engagement with Dominion forces the bridge
of the USS Tigerclaw sustains major damage, killing the Executive Officer.
Ro is made temporary XO of the ship, a position that is made permanent on
return to their base. After the Treaty of Bajor is signed, the finally seems
to be peace for the Federation. |
| 2377 | Ro is promoted to the rank of Commander for his serviced
to the Federation and his duties on the USS Tigerclaw. Later that year,
with the return of the USS Voyager, it seems like the Borg threat is reduced
for the time being. Ro eagerly reads through all the tactical data that
is declassified after the return of the USS Voyager. |
| 2380 | Though initially hoping for a command of his own, Ro is
assigned to the newly build USS Wyvern as executive officer. |
